I got my double replacements knee 10/05. complained til 11/07 before he decided to to biopsey. pulled my knee completely out to find within less than 3 minutes from lab, no infection. Dr filled with medicated washers treating infection that I didn’t have, Replaced double knees again 1/08. Pain from day one, never was easy and and could not walk relegated to Hoveround. 7/09 different doctor replaced left knee with Depuy. Said right knee in such mess he didn’t know if he could fix it. Have wire around bones to hold together in left knee. Never not in pain, I have all my serial numbers on all componets of knees put in my knees. Dr says cement broke Howmedica cement. on both the first two sets of implants. got all my records. Looking for attorney to represent me in lawsuit against Stryker/Howmedica/doctor

What an absolute disaster for you and you have to wonder how this can happen in a civilised country?
There are a list of lawyers on the left column of the Blog – you may find one there? It sounds like you have more of an issue with the surgeon than the makers of the knees? The cement came loose on the femoral stem of my hip replacement but this appears to have been due to the way the first surgeon put the stem into the femur.
