My hip implant wasnt metal on metal! CUP was ceramic! I had that done in 2012. I had many problems. The DR wouldnt hear me. It took till 2014 to find another DR who was willing to try redo my hip ! So I had revision surgery 2014. Now I got a rod down my femur almost to my knee. BUT he didnt replace the ball and ceramic cup. I still have popping when I walk. And pain down my whole thigh!
