Stuart it was good to match a name and face after communicating with you for some time. I watched the meet the press video you were great, unfortunately they didn’t allow you much speaking time, like my 3 minute limit when I spoke to the FDA regarding metal hips.
Much of the important facts don’t get to the patients as to what is really going, from a victim.
It was great meet the press did interview you, I only wish they would give an opportunity for the whole story to be told from a victim. Whole story meaning from the manufacturers control of a system that was to protect human beings first and not market share and rate of returns, information withheld from the manufacturers, continuation of sales of mom hips when
top surgeons-scientist-patients are telling our Governments not to use these devices and yet they remain on the market, etc.etc
Hopefully your words will encourage folks that are suffering to come forward in search of health and legal help.
You truly are a warrior with all you have had done to you and the long road that lies ahead.
You will be an inspiration to many people that have been hurt by these devices.
This is the only way laws will change and patients will be protected from anything like this from happening again.
It is a crime that our Governments don’t take actions immediately instead of collecting more and more data.
If you go through a red light you pay a fine or go to jail, if a medical device hurts you- well the powers to be are working on it ????
Be strong and continue to be positive.
