Can Australian cases be tried in US courts? Or vice versa? If so, we are sadly related in our experiences. I have had 4 hip replacements since 2007, the first 2 being Smith & Nephew. My lawyer (to whom I pay nothing) has formed a Multi-District-Litigation, (MDL) which is different from a class action suit. The class action suit is numerous cases handled by one firm. An MDL instead, shares the workload with another firm(s)?. I know The Joseph Lyon Firm can handle US cases; don’t know about the rest.
