You will notice that there are naysayers out in the world who want to deny something so profound and natural. Are you Paige? I wanted to join you in your hunger strike. I’ve had 4 replacements since late 2007, and the same hell you’ve been through. Others with comments acknowledge we are all in this together. I’m beginning Congressional actions, lobbying (inspired by my newly graduated JD son) that ALL Smith and Nephew implements be recalled, and those of us who don’t have much of a life left because of S&N: we are due at the very least, financial relief for all we’re suffering.
So my first homework is to research the lives and personalities of our senators, all of whom, for me, live here in Cincinnati. I’m 60, used to be a dancer and quickly eroded many joints.

You are not alone. The problem doesn’t go away either each day there is something new. I went to 7 different doctors in 2 days last week with new complications. I get up and feel better and wack, like I got punched in the stomach. But I get up and start again. I think one of the most difficult things is fighting depression. For example the other night I couldn’t sleep, you must have a few of those nights, so I got into the reclinner and turned tv on and tears just started rolling out of my eyes and down my cheeks for no reason, (depression) I guess.
What is important is I, we heal and get our strength back. Then if you are strong enough to deal with this nightmare , because it takes the wind out of your sails, taking on the device world is like David and Goliath scares people off.
The recent vote in our USA Congress unnanimously voted in favor of H.R.No 5, ( healoth reform bill ) read the bill it is so apparent that the DEVICE world controls or calls the shots, as long as it is benificial. They point the finger of blame fortheir rising device costs, on their legal expenses. Legal expenses BULLSH-T, thats the cost of doing business. It certainly hasn’t hurt to much in their bottom lines.
Then the DEVICE world says this is how we can help people save money, if we don’t have to be held accountable for manufacturing a device such as the MOM hip,
knowing now that 10′s of thousands of innocent people are being hurt, or better yet we pay a TOKEN settlement to compensate any injured parties $500,000.
We say OK, or I should say our Government< these are the same people that are to protect and insure the quality of ours lives first and foremost, and not the DEVICE manufacturer. That is the real problem. Yes there are corrupt doctors, like any other business, however, there are many more good than not. Here is an example ofr crazy, I paid for a perscription 2 months ago $47then I entered the donut hole,same pills
$147 , today my wife Nancy went for a refill $647. I said no and returned the meds. If you can rationalize an explanation that makes sense I will listen.
My point is valid please don't point your finger in the wrong direction, unless in The USA, we the people hold the DEVICE world and the FDA accountable, another tragedy will occur. The people eliment in all this mix is some where in the mix, the print is so small I have difficulty findind the text. Tyhis holds true all over the world, the human factor must be # ONE, not the DEVICE world.
Get your and our politicians to listen and hear our words or I fear nothing will come of this tragedy other than more such tragedys or worse if that's possible.

This is why, people must stand on their feet and" SHOUT I AM A HUMAN BEING AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE,. " and do something about it.
